KIM LOEWE

Kim Loewe

Kim Loewe was born in 1973 in St. Louis, Missouri. She studied at Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, and received her MFA from Columbia University. Loewe has been a resident artist at Long Island University, University of Milwaukee and Cité Universitaire in Paris. Her fellowships and awards include Earl and Eugenia Quirk Foundation MIAD scholarship, and the Columbia University Fellowship at the LeRoy Neiman Center For Print Studies. Her work has been shown extensively in New York, Chicago and Milwaukee, and is included in private collections as well as the Museum of Modern Art, Mattewan Gallery, Chicago Printmakers Collaborative and Printed Matter. She lives in Sea Cliff, NY and works in Manhattan.
